Responsibilities included design, development and building of new
test fixtures for existing and new product lines, for both through-hole
and SMT PCBs , as well as Contract Manufacturing Assemblies. Majority of test fixtures were “bed of nails” fixtures,
running CHECKSUMä Test Software.
Responsibilities also included writing and maintaining all CHECKSUMä Test programs, in compliance with ISO 9000
Software Configuration Management. Software management duties also
included writing and maintaining programs written as “stand alone”
and/or “executables” in PASCAL and BASIC. Technical writing
responsibilities included the writing of Test Procedures (for Production
Personnel) and creating drawings for new and existing test fixtures, using
schematic drawing software (ORCAD). Test Hardware responsibilities
included the building and maintenance of all test PC systems.
Additional Test Engineering duties included assisting Test
Engineering Technicians with troubleshooting and repairing of failed PCBs

and parts of the FTMS Users Manual, as well as producing schematic
drawings using Mini-Cad. ·
