TRIDELTA INDUSTRIES, INC. –
Mentor, Ohio  (April 1995 – August 2001)

Electronic Technical Specialist/Test Engineer: Test Engineering Lead.  Responsibilities included design, development and building of new test fixtures for existing and new product lines, for both through-hole and SMT PCBs , as well as Contract Manufacturing Assemblies.  Majority of test fixtures were “bed of nails” fixtures, running CHECKSUMä Test Software.  Responsibilities also included writing and maintaining all CHECKSUMä Test programs, in compliance with ISO 9000 Software Configuration Management. Software management duties also included writing and maintaining programs written as “stand alone” and/or “executables” in PASCAL and BASIC. Technical writing responsibilities included the writing of Test Procedures (for Production Personnel) and creating drawings for new and existing test fixtures, using schematic drawing software (ORCAD). Test Hardware responsibilities included the building and maintenance of all test PC systems.  Additional Test Engineering duties included assisting Test Engineering Technicians with troubleshooting and repairing of failed PCBs or assemblies.

·         Responsible for all Production Floor test systems, fixtures, programs and procedures

·         Networked Test Computers to allow access to test data via company Novell Network

·         Assist M.I.S. (D.P.) Department with both hardware and software support  


WESTINGHOUSE NAVAL SYSTEMS DIV. – Cleveland, Ohio  (April 1989 – April 1995)

Sr. Electronic Technician: Responsibilities included the building and maintenance of test systems for various PCBs used in both the ADCAP and Mark 50 Torpedoes, including both hardware and software development and integration.  Member of the development team of the Westinghouse FTMS (Flexible Test and Measurement System) test system.  Responsibilities on the FTMS team were integration of GPIB and VXI hardware, as well as developing instrument drivers using National Instruments LabVIEWä graphical programming software.  Additional responsibilities included writing Test Procedures and parts of the FTMS Users Manual, as well as producing schematic drawings using Mini-Cad.

·         Chief Alpha tester for FTMS LabVIEWä instrument drivers

·         Software development on both PC and MAC platforms

·         Military Standard 454 Solder Certified
